It was a great pleasure for Riga Purvciems Secondary School students and teachers&nbsp; to start the mobilities of the project in Riga, Latvia. Our guests were met by rainy autumn weather of November as well as by the warmth of the hearts of host families and the project participants.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp;Within one week in Riga the participants managed to visit Old Riga, Turaida, Sigulda, Jelgava, Marupe, Kekava and Jurmala. They investigated the past of Latvia visiting Menzendof Merchant House and Turaida Castle; they visited its Present while attending Riga Council, eco-cosmetics company \u201cMadara\u201d, candy workshop in Jelgava; they tried to look into the future and see themselves as leaders of firms working hand in hand with guest speakers.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"768\" height=\"1024\" src=\"https:\/\/erasmusplus.iespablopicasso.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/07\/IMG_20191104_164531-768x1024.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-60\" srcset=\"https:\/\/erasmusplus.iespablopicasso.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/07\/IMG_20191104_164531-768x1024.jpg 768w, https:\/\/erasmusplus.iespablopicasso.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/07\/IMG_20191104_164531-225x300.jpg 225w, https:\/\/erasmusplus.iespablopicasso.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/07\/IMG_20191104_164531-1152x1536.jpg 1152w, https:\/\/erasmusplus.iespablopicasso.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/07\/IMG_20191104_164531-1536x2048.jpg 1536w, https:\/\/erasmusplus.iespablopicasso.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/07\/IMG_20191104_164531-scaled.jpg 1920w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 768px) 100vw, 768px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Moreover, youngsters took part in Latvian traditional celebration of Martin\u2019s day. They learned folk dances, folk games and each of them created a small handmade souvenir from Latvia. Hopefully, this small crafts lantern will make their heart melt every time they look at it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At the end of the mobility the guests filled in a questionnaire about the stay.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This was only the first step, which is to be followed by oncoming mobilities within two years\u2019 time.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe title=\"Movilidad Erasmus en Riga, noviembre 2019.
